Recommended Hanging Height

In order to adjust and acheive target PPFD levels from phase to phase throughout the cultivation cycle, it is recommended that growers use a PAR meter in combination with hang height and dimming. The PAR maps and tent configurations shown below are meant to provide general guidance.


PPFD Levels

Recent studies show that PPFD levels as high as 1,500 umols/m2/s will deliver a proportional increase in yields so long as other critical inputs are kept in balance. These include CO2, water, and nutrients. The GROW 300 will easily deliver PPFD levels over 1,000 umols/m2/s, whether arranged individually or in a multi-unit array. We recommend that all growers study and experiment within their grow space to devise the best combination of inputs.

Let Down 300

Flowered a run of photos, all cloned from the same plant. Running the grow 300 over 3 and the Mars tsl2000 over 3, in the same 8x8. Even just visually it was no contest, the mars plants had significantly higher trichome production, and produced an all around better product, quality and quantity. Frustrated but interested, I flowered a run of autos next with the same results. 2 blue dream auto and 2 grand daddy purp auto under each light. Again, regardless of strain, photo, or auto, the Mars is producing significantly more trichomes. Looking into returning the Grow 300 and replacing with a second Mars. Thankfully within my 120 days and hopeful they warrant the satisfaction guarantee.

Great light, minus accurate dimming readings

Light is overall exceptional. Be careful when upgrading from much less powerful LED, shocked my plants for almost a week. My recommendation is turning it to the lowest brightness and slowly cranking it up every few days. Will run a bit hot so make sure you have an effective ventilation system.
