The TrolMaster Hydro-X Thermostat Station (TS-1) has been designed as a replacement for a thermostat connected to a conventional cool-only HVAC unit. The TS-1 is wired to the HVAC system using the same low-voltage thermostat cable and has the same standard color-coded wiring as most thermostats. The Hydro-X System allows separate day and night settings for each of up to four TS modules so multiple HVAC systems can be controlled by a single Hydro-X system.

The TrolMaster Hydro-X Thermostat Station (TS-1) is meant to be used as a replacement for a thermostat connected to a conventional cool-only HVAC unit. Simply connect the TS-1 to your thermostat on the wall using preexisting RWYG wires, then you can use the TS-1 in conjunction with the Hydro-X to easily control your commercial AC units. Choose desired temperature setpoints for the Day / Night mode (see Temperature Settings in Hydro-X’s instructions) and the TS-1 will turn on/off Cooling Mode or Heating Mode automatically for the connected AC units based on that setpoint.
You don’t need to provide power supply for the TS-1. It can be connected to Hydro-X with a simple RJ12 cable. After power-on, the Hydro-X will send the control data to the TS-1 automatically. The LCD screen of TS-1 will display the temperature setpoint and current temperature. When the current measured temperature is beyond the setpoints, the TS-1 unit will control the commercial AC units to perform cooling mode automatically.
