About Collection Plates
Making Rosin at home is easy. After wrapping your flower in parchment paper, you can apply it to the plate of a Rosin Press and apply heat and pressure to extract rosin within minutes. However, after extracting your Rosin, you might find it hard to collect the finished product.
When rosin is freshly-pressed, it’s often still runny and can stick to the parchment paper. Many users place their wrapped Rosin in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes to cool it down and make it easier to collect. However, using a Collection Plate makes the process even easier.
A Collection Plate offers a nice, cool surface for collecting your rosin. You can even cool it in the fridge or freezer shortly before collecting your rosin. You can then place your rosin on the plate as soon as you’ve extracted it and start scooping it up effortlessly.
Using a Collection Plate saves you a lot of time and hassle as the collection process will instantly become a breeze. Whether you’re simply making a small batch of rosin or trying to produce multiple large yields, this handy accessory will make your life easier.
How To Use a Collection Plate
The best way to use a rosin Collection Plate is to cool it down shortly before you extract your rosin using a rosin press. That way, you can instantly transfer the extracted Rosin to your collection plate and start scooping it up.
You can place your rosin collection plate in the fridge for around 10-20 minutes or until it’s nice and cold. Alternatively, you can place it in the freezer to make it extra cold. This will cool down your Rosin even faster and make it very easy to collect.
After extracting your rosin, place it on the collection plate and start scooping up your product using a collection tool. Do this quickly so that your rosin doesn’t become too cold. Once you’ve scooped all your rosin into a clump, you can store it in parchment paper or put it in a silicone container. You can also use it instantly if you prefer.
