Safety-First Design
The M9 Bud Sorter features safety interlocks for the highest level of operator safety. The system will automatically shut down if a maintenance panel is removed, and the sorting tray immediately glows red to indicate a fault status. Once the fault is corrected, the operator must restart the machine using the Human Machine Interface (HMI) controls, which comply with leading CSA, EU, and UL safety standards.
Safety Interlock - Safety interlocks are integrated into all access panels so that when a panel is removed, the interlock automatically puts the machine into fault mode, limiting operator exposure to moving parts.
Status Indicator Lights - Built-in LED indicator lights display the machine's operating status. For example, the sorting tray will illuminate blue when ready to sort, white when in operation, and red when in fault mode.
Safety Markings - The M9 Sorter motor is CSA/UL Listed, and the machine is CE certified.
