The TrolMaster Hydro-X Humidistat Station (HS-1) module is designed to control commercial dehumidifiers. Commercial dehumidifiers typically have a “low-volt” control option so they can be controlled by an external humidistat such as the HS-1. This unit works just like an external humidistat and is the best way to control your dehumidifiers by eliminating the need to control the high-amperage / inrush current associated with dehumidifiers.

By connecting to the Hydro-X by four data lines through the four ports on the back panel, the TrolMaster Hydro-X Humidistat Station (HS-1) can control any dehumidifier with a 24V terminal. Choose your desired humidity setpoint for the Day / Night mode (see Humidity Settings in Hydro-X’s instructions) and the HS-1 will control the dehumidifier based on the setpoint.
The LCD screen of HS-1 will display the setpoint humidity (upper part) and current humidity (lower part). When the current measured humidity is higher than the setpoint, the HS-1 unit will control the dehumidifier to decrease the humidity to normal setpoint.
