Subject to the exclusions set forth on the Grow Light Science website www.growlightscience.com, Grow Light Science LLC. (“Grow”) warrants its light emitting diode (LED) luminaires, including the LED arrays and the LED drivers and integral control devices (“LED Luminaire(s)”) for all Grow products, to be free from defect in material and workmanship (the “Limited Warranty”) for a period of five (5) years from the date of shipment from Grow facilities.  Grow warrants its dimmers and other LED Luminaire controlling products (“LED Controllers”) to be free from defect in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment from Grow facilities.  The LED arrays in the LED Luminaire(s) will be considered defective in material or workmanship only if a total of 15% or more of the individual light emitting diodes in the LED Luminaire(s) fail to illuminate or any standard finish or coating on a product shows cracking, peeling, excessive fading or corrosion defects during applicable warranty period.

ProGrow 320 Back up lamp

Bought the ProGrow 320 in Sept 23. Had this lamp for a full clone to flower grow and it performed decently.
Had it going in the same 2x4 tent for the past 6 weeks taking two plants from seed to flower. I noticed during my ProGrow 320 grow the "power" just didnt seem there.
Same thing in my current grow. Cant seem to hit 1000ppfd on my canopy at 20" or even 18". Per GLS specs, I should be able to. Im using Gorilla grow tent 2x4, I know its not the same as the Mylar GLS uses for testing, but should be in the ballpark.
At 17", the best I'm pulling is just over 800ppfd which isnt near enough to run thru flower to harvest. At 20" distance it wasnt even close. I ended up putting my Quantum Board lamp in for the weeks 3-8 of flower.
After this grow is done and tent is empty, I will fully test the ProGrow 320 and be doubly sure of my findings. GLS advised me to hang the lamp 6-12" above the canopy. That doesnt seem right, and would kill my light spread, I would think. Im testing ppfd with Uni-T and PPFD app, so things are "Fairly Accurate".
They advised must have tent doors and window closed.. check.

As for lamp quality...
There were a few physical flaws noticed, fit and finish issues, and things that looked like tooling marks and parts that fit crooked or force-fit, but I overlooked that. Thinking the lamp was gonna be a burner, I never mentioned it.
Now that the lamp doesnt seem quite all that and a bag of chips, I wish I had brought those issues up. Too late now.

My HLG350R arrived new with no issues. My AC Infinity Bar lamp (EVO 4) arrived with no flaws or what looks like force-fit parts.

I will fully test in my tent after my other lamp finishes the flower and harvest . Only in Flower week 3 as of april '24.

I really want to LOVE this lamp, but my past harvest wasnt what it should have been.

If my 350Diablo was on duty, it would have produced more. Im sure of it. It did the prior grow. At $290 this isnt a cheap lamp, but there are newer EVO diode lamps for a few dollars more. After discount codes you can get them cheaper than this lamp.

I did only buy this as a back-up lamp, and for that its great. For my main 2x4 lamp, its not quite there (yet), but I'm not writing it off.. Just really need to check in-tent numbers with controlled environment.

Either way, if Im allowed to update this review, I will.

The way it is right now, Im saying 3 stars. If I find a way to keep ppfd high while getting a relatively even spread, then its a 4 star lamp. Its really not any cheaper than other bar lamps out there (take ACI for example), so it should match performance.
Plus, if you want to mount driver outside tent or away from lamp, its an additional cost. Other(s) include the cable, closing the price gap.

I did test this lamp with Par meter along with the HLG350R.
Testing confirmed what my informal measurments showed. This lamp is just not capable of high Ppfd at 18-20"

I call complete BS on their stated Ppfd and PAR map.

I will try another grow with this lamp, and mount it around 12" or less. Then maybe it will perform..

Im not bashing this lamp. Im just being real about its performance. Im using PPFD app along with Uni-T meter for measurements.
