The Pikes Peak V2 Rosin Press was created using leading-edge rosin press technology with custom software (free firmware updates for life) and an easy to use LCD screen for complete control. Delivering 5 tons of smashing pressure from the unit’s custom fabricated, maintenance-free, oil-less pneumatic cylinder. The Pikes Peak V2’s in-house machined aluminum plates with independent thermocouples for perfect accuracy, offers up 120psi compressed air input (2.2 CFM) and uniform heat distribution from 0°F - 300°F.
The Pikes Peak V2 rosin press comes with two sets of legs so you can operate the press vertically or horizontally. Each press is proudly made by hand at the PurePressure factory in Denver, Colorado with top quality components and includes a 2 year limited warranty.

Choosing an Air Compressor
PurePressure recommends an air compressor that can achieve at least 120 psi, but ideally 140 psi, for full utilization of the rosin press that has a tank size of 20 gallons, at a minimum.
For Example
If you need an air compressor and want to run a single Pikes Peak Press as well as a pneumatic air tool that requires 11 CFM at 120 psi, you can calculate your air compressor needs like this:
Add up the CFM ratings: 1.7 (Pikes Peak Press) + 11 (Miscellaneous Air Tool) = 12.7 CFM
Multiply by 1.3 for wiggle room: 12.7 x 1.3 = 16.5 CFM (or for high altitudes, such as Denver, CO, multiply by 1.2: 16.5 x 1.2 = 19.8 CFM
The air requirement is roughly 20 CFM
Maintenance
PurePressure’s rosin presses are specifically designed so they will not need regular servicing, although to ensure that your press always runs smoothly:
Make sure you only use clean, dry compressed air when operating the press. This will increase the life of the air regulator and the internal air transfer components. The pneumatic cylinder is oil-less and maintenance-free.
Ensure you always use parchment paper when you do your extractions to keep oil and debris from building up on the platens. If you do get oil on your heat plates, they can easily be cleaned with denatured alcohol. We recommend that you clean your heat plates when they are not hot to avoid burns.
