Now you can trim your flowers with the stem pointed towards or away from you so that the flatter portion of the leaves get caught in the trimmer’s teeth. Move the blade across the plant flower in a sweeping back and forth motion about the stem. You yourself determine the amount of material removed by adjusting how close you put the blade to the flower and the angle at which you trim. The closer you angle the blade to the stem, the more plant material you will take off the stem. You can spot trim by angling the teeth so that only the tip of the trimmer touches the plant. Now you have the ability to make small and precise cuts without hurting the surrounding flowers.

Works great except for one thing. The handle starts getting pretty hot after while of trimming. And the wear on the blade connection area of the handle is noticeable.
