Everything you need to know about the Nugsmasher Pro

Are you looking for a rosin press that has a perfect configuration that will ensure you the easy loading of your materials while at the same time stays in place during the entire pressing process? Well, you don’t have to search any more because the Nugsmasher Pro is what you need!

The NugSmasher Pro is considered the most powerful machine in the NugSmasher lineup and also named as “commercial rosin presser's best friend.”

This machine is a truly customizable machine because it comes with three different squash plate configurations. These configurations include the single Big Boy 7" x 10" plates, dual 10" x 2.5" plates or a full six individual 2.5" x 3" plates. What’s right about these configurations is that each of it comes with matching alignment/centering racks that will ensure you the easy loading of your materials that stay in place during the entire pressing process.

But the customization doesn't end there because NugSmasher Pro has both a manual and a pneumatic configuration. This means that when you're away from (or don't have) an air compressor, you can apply pressure using an included manual lever. Or if you want to pump up production, you can pair the NugSmasher Pro with an air compressor for near-autonomous operation.

Just take note of this important thing: Any air compressor with a 90-120 psi working pressure and 3 gallon or larger tank is recommended. The manufacturer recommends you to use with a water separator attached to the compressor and inlet size of 1/4 in -18 npt into the machine.

Moreover, the Nugsmasher Pro completes the NugSmasher lineup and joins the Mini, Original and XP as a truly recommended commercial rosin press that’s capable of processing more than 112 grams of material per press. It also features up to massive 7" x 10" smash plates and a full six 160W heaters.

Lastly, just like the NugSmasher XP, the NugSmasher Pro comes with a front-facing built-in pressure gauge that allows you to make the perfect pressure for the material you're pressing for yield with utmost quality of volume.

6 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

Made From High-Quality Materials

Just like the Nugsmasher Original, XP, and Touch, you can rest assured that the Nugsmasher Pro is made from high-quality materials because it’s designed and built by Professionals in Corona, California in their 40,000 square foot machine and fabrication workshop. This machine is crafted by skilled professionals composed of the industry’s leading and experienced designers, builders, engineers, and fabricators.

Just like the other Nugsmasher machines, Nugsmasher Pro is also considered as one of the most rugged rosin presses on the market and titled as "being built like a tank."  If you doubt the machine’s frame, well doubts no more! Because Nugsmasher XP has a dependable interlocked USA sourced structural steel for the machine's frame and aircraft grade aluminum CNC machined in-house.

Easy Set-up

Just like the other Nugsmasher machines, Nugsmasher Pro will give you no hassles in setting up because everything you need to begin pressing is already included in the box. All you need to do is plug the device in, then wait for it to heat up and finally! You're ready to begin extracting beautifully pressed rosin.

Another fantastic thing about the NugSmasher Pro is that it comes straight out of the box with configurations for both manual and pneumatic operation. If you want manual operations using this machine, everything is already included in the box, but if you wish to use pneumatic operations, you will need an external air compressor for it. A simple reminder: External air compressors are sold separately and not included with the purchase of a NugSmasher Pro.

Circuit Breakers

When using rosin presses, safety must always be the top priority and so just like with the other Nugsmasher machines, the Nugsmasher Pro also has safety circuit breakers that will protect and secure you. This press has a methodically routed three sub-circuit and primary power circuit with only the highest quality, resettable circuit breakers. These circuit breakers are conveniently installed on the machine's front panel that allows you for easy access, monitoring, and resetting.

Dual PID Temperature Controllers

If you’re worried on how to get the precise temperatures for your extracting process, then don’t be because the NugSmasher Pro utilizes simple yet reliable PID temperature controllers with an accuracy margin of just 0.2%. Both top and bottom plates are individually controlled and heated to ensure that you are getting the correct and consistent temperatures throughout the entire platen.

Just take note that the NugSmasher Pro outputs the temperature in a user set Fahrenheit or Celsius and can accurately control a range of 32° - 752°F (0° - 400°C). Worries no more because you already have the full temperature control with the help of this machine and you can now press high quality, high yield, beautiful rosins.

Thermally Isolated Heat Plates

The NugSmasher Pro is packed with top plates that are thermally isolated just like with the Mini, Original and XP. This systematic design removes any unwanted heat transfer from your pressing area. Thus, it allows you to save power by maintaining efficiency and also helps you to keep the plates heated with your desired temperature in the most accurate ways as much as possible.

Built-In Pressure Gauge

If you are dreaming of having a rosin press that will give you the freedom in setting the perfect amount of pressure for your materials, then Nugsmasher Pro is all you need. Having high-quality rosin, you must know that during pressing it would require you the measurement accuracy that makes repeatable results every time.

Thus, the NugSmasher Pro is 1 of only two rosin presses in the NugSmasher lineup that features a built-in pressure gauge (the other being the commercial grade NugSmasher XP). This built-in pressure gauge is such a great feature of this machine because it allows you to pinpoint the perfect amount of pressure for your material to maximize the quality and volume of your yield.
